RE: The truth about the world, and the truth about you.
Dear JQ,
Sometimes you feel inferior because of your Cello skills. But have you ever wondered how many people feel inferior towards YOU because of your piano skills?
That's right. Don't look at just the dark side of your life, but learn to also look at the brighter side, where Lady Luck is shining on you constantly.
Name me all that you are unhappy about yourself. I bet that I can come out with 10 times more that I love about you.
Why? Because YOU'RE THAT GREAT.
Never ever look down on yourself because if you do so, you'll never see the world the way it is again. Life is beautiful and it will always be, but it all depends on how you look at it.
Like how we would visualise the Earth, you can see your life cut into half.
On one side, there's darkness, but on the other side, there's brightness. Sometimes, if you look at the dark side, you would not realise how bright your future can be.
But if you face the bright side too much, you would forget about the dark side which is waiting to be taken notice of. Should you stare too much, your eyes would hurt due to the stinging gleam.
So what should be done to prevent this? Look at it from a neutralised perspective. Now you can see Earth as it is. Half dark, half bright.
As people always do, they harp on their flaws relentlessly, but do they ever stop to admire the beautiful brightness? No. They are stuck, wandering around in the darkness while others are illuminated.
For you, in this case, you are not fully submerged in self pity but you are contemplating being so.
Don't! Even if you want to enter the dark side, make sure you have a torchlight.
And this torchlight, is called faith. When you feel lost, just shine it and you will find your way out.
Have faith in yourself, Jie Qi.
I have faith in you, so why not do the same for yourself?

A little more information about me ;D
I aspire to be a SINGER when I grow up, or probably an ACTRESS or a TEACHER too!
Currently, I compose and sing songs including piano pieces <3
To date, I have composed a total of 11 piano compositions, long and short
Please bear with me if some of my posts are in Malay because I am a BAHASA MELAYU FREAK!
Sour stuff are tantalising and revitalising. You guess it! My favourite ♥
Sweet stuff are not my cup of tea unless I am sad D:
Bitter stuff are a NO WAY as I cannot stand bitterness
Spicy stuff are intriguing and I find myself consuming them despite my disability to withstand spiciness
Salty stuff are a treat but I limit myself to keep my body fit!
I am shy to begin with, but extremely hyper when you get to know me ;D
Mood Swings are normal so you would just have to put up with them (:
I appreciate ALL of my friends but can fall out can completely ignore them within a blink of an eye
